Christmas Meal, 2024

On Christmas Eve, volunteers came to Mom and Dad's Barbecue restaurant in Kearney to begin preparing the holiday meal. On Christmas Day, more volunteers arrived to finish preparing, then packaged meals to be picked up or delivered. We provided approximately 2,000 meals to the citizens of Kearney, as well as first responders and medical personnel working in Kearney, and the surrounding communities of Grand Island, Minden, Holdrege, Lexington, Cozad, and Gothenburg.
