Helping Victims of Hurricane Helene

After Hurricane Helene devastated the southeastern United States, Hot Meals USA responded.  We communicated with a Rotarian in Valdosta, Georgia, and we were invited to provide meals to their community.   After gathering supplies and food from Cash-Wa in Kearney, Nebraska, we drove two days to Georgia, and began serving three hot meals on Friday, October 4th.  We provided approximately 16,000 meals over five days before returning back to Nebraska.
